Our Dog Policy

Pawsitively Welcome!

No Dog Limits • No Breed Restrictions • No Pet Fees

Just 3 Golden Rules

🐾 Cover It — Protective covers on beds and furniture.

🐾 Scoop It — Pick up every pile, every time.

🐾 Clean It — Mud, messes, and accidents are your responsibility.

Leave nothing behind but paw prints on your heart!

guests must acknowledge the full policy when booking and again in their pre-arrival information.

$500 refundable security deposit for direct bookings at Time to Paws Ranch.

Applies to every reservation, regardless of the number of dogs, so we're staying true to our promise:

No Dog Limits. No Breed Restrictions. No Pet Fees.

The deposit would cover documented damage or extraordinary cleaning, not normal dog hair, routine cleaning, or ordinary wear and tear.

The booking system would place a temporary authorization hold on the guest's credit card rather than charge the deposit upfront, provided the payment system supports it.

The cleaning policy must be acknowledged as part of the checkout.

For Airbnb or Vrbo reservations, we'd need to follow each platform's security-deposit and damage-claim rules rather than automatically collecting a separate deposit.

Dog-Friendly Guest & Cleaning Policy

🐾 Bring the Whole Pack!

No Dog Limits. No Breed Restrictions. No Pet Fees.

At Time to Paws Ranch, dogs aren't just welcome — they're the reason we're here!

We believe a family vacation should include the entire family, especially the four-legged members. That's why we don't impose arbitrary limits on the number, size, or breed of dogs you bring, and we never charge additional pet fees.

In return, we have one very important expectation:

Enjoy the ranch, respect the property, and leave it clean for the next pack!

We proudly welcome dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds, but our cleaning standards are strict. All guests must agree to the following policies before their stay.

1. Furniture & Beds — Dogs Welcome, Covers Required!

Your dogs are welcome to cuddle on the sofas and sleep beside you in bed. After all, they're on vacation too!

However:

  • Protective covers are mandatory whenever dogs are on beds or furniture.

  • Guests must use the provided protective covers or bring suitable covers of their own.

  • Dogs may not lie directly on uncovered sheets, pillows, comforters, mattresses, or upholstered furniture.

  • Covers must remain in place whenever dogs occupy furniture or beds.

  • Any accidents, stains, or damage must be reported immediately.

We love dog cuddles. We just don't want the next guest finding evidence of them!

2. Dog Waste — Zero Tolerance

With acres to explore, there's plenty of room for your dogs to do their business. But that doesn't mean anyone else should have to discover it!

  • All dog waste must be picked up immediately.

  • This applies everywhere: fenced yards, pastures, trails, around the barn, and all other accessible areas.

  • Waste bags must be securely tied and placed in designated outdoor trash receptacles.

  • No waste may be left behind at checkout.

Failure to remove dog waste may result in additional cleaning charges.

3. Indoor Accidents — Clean Immediately

Accidents happen. Leaving them for someone else to discover is not acceptable.

  • Clean urine, feces, or vomit immediately using the provided pet-safe cleaning supplies.

  • Notify management promptly of any accident involving carpets, rugs, upholstery, mattresses, or other absorbent surfaces.

  • Do not attempt to conceal stains or damage.

  • Guests are responsible for extraordinary cleaning or damage resulting from accidents.

4. Muddy Paws & Dirty Dogs

We want your dogs to run, explore, splash, and enjoy every minute of their stay!

But the outdoors needs to stay outdoors.

  • Clean muddy or wet paws before entering the house.

  • Use designated dog towels and washing facilities.

  • Do not use household bath towels, bedding, or linens to clean dogs.

  • Dogs must be reasonably clean and dry before getting on covered furniture or beds.

5. Dog Hair & General Cleanliness

We expect dog hair. We're dog people!

Normal shedding is part of the experience and is included in your stay.

However, excessive accumulations of hair, dirt, mud, or debris must be cleaned before checkout.

  • Remove excessive hair from furniture and bedding.

  • Clean visible pet-related messes from floors and other surfaces.

  • Do not leave heavily soiled protective covers or linens without notifying management.

  • Guests are responsible for cleaning beyond normal use when excessive messes are left behind.

6. Supervision & Property Damage

Dogs must be supervised and appropriately managed throughout their stay.

  • Guests are responsible for damage caused by chewing, scratching, digging, marking, or destructive behavior.

  • Dogs must not be allowed to damage doors, floors, furniture, fencing, landscaping, or recreational equipment.

  • Any damage to gates or fencing must be reported immediately.

  • Dogs must be safely managed when left unattended.

  • All dogs must be disclosed as part of the reservation.

7. Checkout — Leave No Paw Prints Behind!

Before departure, please complete the following:

  • Pick up all dog waste throughout the areas you used.

  • Dispose of all waste bags in designated receptacles.

  • Clean any visible pet-related messes.

  • Remove excessive dog hair from beds and furniture.

  • Place used protective covers and dog towels in the designated laundry area.

  • Return dog supplies and equipment to their proper locations.

  • Check for and report any damage or accidents.

  • Make sure all gates and doors are properly secured.

We don't expect you to deep-clean the house. That's our job. We do expect you to clean up after your dogs.

8. Additional Cleaning & Damage Charges

There are no pet fees at Time to Paws Ranch.

Normal cleaning, routine shedding, and ordinary use of the property are included in your stay.

However, additional charges may apply for documented extraordinary cleaning, repairs, or damage caused by failure to follow this policy.

Examples include:

  • Dog waste left anywhere on the property.

  • Unreported or improperly cleaned indoor accidents.

  • Urine or other pet odors requiring professional treatment.

  • Stained or damaged mattresses, bedding, rugs, or upholstery.

  • Excessive dog hair, mud, or debris requiring extraordinary cleaning.

  • Damage to furniture, doors, flooring, fencing, or equipment.

Charges will be based on reasonable, documented actual costs, consistent with applicable law and booking platform policies.

9. Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for the behavior, supervision, and cleanup of every dog accompanying their reservation.

Guests must ensure their dogs can be safely managed around other animals, people, fencing, and ranch facilities.

Access to ranch amenities may occasionally be restricted for maintenance, personal use, or scheduled special events.

Our Promise to You — And Yours to Us

Our promise: We'll provide a beautiful, welcoming destination where your dogs can enjoy the vacation right alongside you — without breed restrictions, arbitrary dog limits, or extra pet fees.

Your promise: You'll respect our home, care for the grounds, clean up after your dogs, and help us keep Time to Paws special for everyone who visits.

Bring the whole pack. Make a mess of memories, not the house! 🐾
