A Love for Dogs. A Dream with Room to Run.
I’m Christine Sennott, founder of Time to Paws Ranch, a Realtor since 2002, and co-founder of Aussie Rescue of the Mid-Atlantic. Dogs, homes, and helping others have shaped my life—and this ranch brings those passions together.
My love affair with Page County began during COVID, when my husband and I purchased land where we could take our dogs camping on the weekends. What started as a getaway became a place we wanted to call home.
When we moved here, I noticed something: people loved vacationing with their dogs, but the dogs themselves often seemed like an afterthought. I wanted to create a vacation where their happiness was part of the plan from the very beginning.
That idea inspired my first dog-focused vacation rental. I put as much thought into the dogs’ experience as their people’s, and the response was incredible. Watching dogs explore, play, and settle in—and seeing how much joy that brought their families—made me dream bigger.
Meanwhile, in 2022, we founded Aussie Rescue of the Mid-Atlantic, or ARMA. Our vision went beyond rescuing and finding homes for dogs. We wanted to build a community around them: fosters, adopters, volunteers, and people committed to helping dogs thrive. Through support, shared activities, and enrichment, we hoped to help people understand their dogs and build stronger bonds with them.
Part of that dream was having a place where those connections could grow.
Time to Paws Ranch grew from those two dreams.
Here, a vacation gives you time to enjoy being with your dogs—to follow their curiosity along the Sniffari Trail, play together, try something new, or simply relax while they take in the world around them.
The ranch also offers space for trainers, dog sport organizations, and fellow dog lovers to come together for learning, activities, and events. My hope is that people leave with wonderful memories and a deeper connection to the dogs who share their lives.
Welcome to Time to Paws Ranch. I’m so glad you—and your dogs—are here.
